Trusting the Next Step
Life often asks us to move forward before we feel completely prepared. We may wait for certainty, confidence, or the perfect set of circumstances, only to discover that growth rarely begins that way. More often, it unfolds through small acts of courage and a willingness to take the next step, even when the path ahead is not fully visible.
It is easy to become discouraged when progress feels slow or when life does not unfold according to our plans. Yet meaningful change is rarely immediate. It is cultivated through consistency, patience, and the quiet decision to begin again each day. Over time, those small choices shape who we are becoming and strengthen our ability to trust ourselves along the journey.
You do not have to have everything figured out to move forward. There is freedom in allowing yourself to learn, adapt, and grow at your own pace. Every season carries lessons, and every step—no matter how small—has value. What matters most is not how quickly you arrive, but that you continue moving in a direction that aligns with your values, your purpose, and the life you are creating.
Give yourself permission to start where you are. Trust that growth is taking place, even when it feels unseen. Some of the strongest roots are formed quietly beneath the surface before they ever become visible above the ground.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5–6
